What's Inside

Epithalon is an artificial version of Epithalamin, which is a peptide produced by the pineal gland. Research has shown that Epithalon can activate telomerase in somatic cells, which is believed to lead to a decrease in the rate of aging in laboratory mice. According to reports published via the 2003 study by Anisimov et al. in Biogerontology axone, Epithalon can activate telomerase through the presence of certain markers of longevity. It should be noted that the research on Epithalon is relatively less than the one done on BPC-157, meaning that most of the findings come from one laboratory only.

PeptideGod does not display a Certificate of Analysis for Epithalon on the product page. Reconstitute with bacteriostatic water per the standard protocol in our reconstitution guide.

How to Store and Handle

Place the sealed lyophilized vial in a -20°C (freezer) location prior to storage. Reconstituted vial should be put in a refrigerator (2-8°C) and used within 28 days of reconstitution. Research in the literature has shown that Epithalon is effective for a period of time between 10 days, which means that a reconstituted vial is possibly enough for one treatment cycle depending on dosing. Standard cold chain storage and handling applies.

PeptideGod Epithalon Overview

The PeptideGod Epithalon comes in a lyophilized research vial that contains the synthetic tetrapeptide known as Epithalon or Epitalon (Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly). Costing $29.95, it is PeptideGod's cheapest product and one of the cheapest peptides available. Epithalon is used for cellular aging research, which is a different category than the more traditional tissue repair and growth hormone products.

Our Verdict

PeptideGod's Epithalon is the economical initiation for peptide research in longevity. The pricing of $29.95 corresponds to the peptide's size, which only includes 4 amino acids, making it the simplest peptide to manufacture. Although Epithalon shows some promise in the research arena, it still has limited research data to back it up, since most of its research has been conducted by a single research group and replication by independent labs in the West is absent. Hence, for researchers who would like to focus on telomerase, this is a research option in terms of pricing. For the longevity category in general, however, MOTS-c offers newer and more significant publications. There is no COA provided.

FAQ, PeptideGod Epithalon

What is Epithalon?

Epithalon (Epitalon) is a synthetic tetrapeptide (Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly) that imitates the pineal peptide Epithalamin. It is being investigated for telomerase activation in cell and animal studies with potential applications in research on cellular aging.

What research exists on Epithalon and telomerase?

Research conducted by Khavinson and his team presents findings showing that Epithalon stimulates telomerase in cultured human fetal fibroblast cells and in somatic cells of mice. Research involving animal models indicates the influence of Epithalon on the production of melatonin, reproductive functions, and indicators of life span. Evidence comes mainly from a specific research group. You can check our longevity peptides guide for details.

Does PeptideGod publish a COA for Epithalon?

No. PeptideGod does not display a Certificate of Analysis for Epithalon at the time of this review.

Is Epithalon the cheapest peptide in the catalog?

Yes, Epithalon costs $29.95, making it the most affordable product available at PeptideGod, as well as the least expensive injectable peptide we feature in this catalog. The low price of the product is due to the fact that it is a peptide with a low molecular weight of only 4 amino acids, which also significantly lessens the production costs.
